In the Platan Shopping Center in Zabrze, a social debate entitled “Let’s talk about the safety of young people” was held. The organizers have prepared three discussion panels. One of the speakers on the topic of cybersecurity was attorney Mateusz Grzech. Together with the attorney, the panel was attended by asp. Adam Strzodka from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Zabrze, Kamil Hermann – IT specialist and Joanna Dorocicz – psychologist. In the audience in the Planet Cinema cinema hall, on the other hand, sat about 200 teenagers. The young people participated in the debate very actively and asked many questions to the experts. The m.in following topics were discussed: – how to be safe on the Internet, – what data should never be shared with anyone, – what behavior on the Internet is punishable, how to collect evidence, e.g. in the case of stalking or insults, – how easy it is to make someone depressed, but how difficult it is to pull them out of this state, – what mental problems people harassed in the virtual world struggle with.
